- Permanent headcount, based in Singapore or Hong Kong
- Leading international bank
- FIG M&A
- Provide support for origination efforts in the financial institutions (FIG) sector
- Assist in originating and marketing of FI advisory mandates including for M&A, investment and bancassurance transactions
- Lead the development and drafting of pitch books and other marketing materials
- Provide support and day-to-day leadership on all aspects of transaction execution
- Project management, lead and supervise financial modelling / other financial analysis
- Draft transaction-related documents such as teasers, information memorandum, bid letters and other transaction documents
- Assist in managing client relationship, liaise with relevant authorities and other professionals
- Quality control. Review all work performed by junior colleagues and obtain requisite internal sign-offs
- Mentoring junior bankers
- Degree from any discipline
- Years of relevant experience: At least 6 years of relevant experience for VP level in investment banking, advisory, M&A or corporate finance. More junior profiles may be considered for Senior Associate level.
- MUST have some FIG knowledge and exposure
- Strong work ethic and excellent attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision
- Analytical and numerate with accounting and finance knowledge
- Strong problem solving skills
- Good deal transaction experience
- Good client management skills
- Team player, work independently
- Strong technical and communication skills
