Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded actuary to join a leading global insurer, working on complex, multi-class portfolio solutions. This role offers exposure to sophisticated deal structures, delegated business, and alternative capital, within a collaborative environment that supports flexible working and career progression.

You will lead end-to-end pricing on high-value portfolio deals, partnering closely with underwriting teams to assess risk, optimise structures, and deliver clear insights on performance and profitability. The role also involves monitoring portfolio trends, enhancing pricing tools and models, supporting business planning, and providing guidance to junior team members.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified actuary with strong pricing experience, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to influence decisions in a complex environment. Experience in the London Market, exposure to portfolio or structured deals, and technical skills such as Excel and SQL will be highly beneficial.
