Corporate Functions includes the Group's non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units, and include Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Organisation & Digital, Risk and Tax departments.

To support the continued growth of our London-based Internal Audit practice, Pictet Asset Management is seeking a highly motivated Internal Auditor. In time, this role offers the opportunity to, when established in the role, conduct independent audit assignments within the United Kingdom and, on occasion, internationally.

Your role

• Independently plan, execute, and manage risk-based audit engagements across institutional asset management, trading, and investment fund sectors, primarily in the UK and occasionally in other key locations (e.g., Switzerland, Luxembourg).
• Prepare and contribute to comprehensive audit reports, providing actionable recommendations and monitoring the implementation of agreed measures.
• Actively participate in meetings with Pictet Asset Management Executive Committee Members to present audit findings and recommendations.
• Conduct regular business partnership meetings with various stakeholders.
• Leverage technology and data to identify new trends.

Your profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 4-6 years' experience in internal or external audit, or in a risk/control function within an asset management company. During this time, you will have likely acquired a professional certification such as ACA and/or:
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or equivalent (e.g., CPA)
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent (e.g., CAIA, FRM)
• Interest in technology and data analytics with a curiosity to explore how they can be applied within Internal Audit and Asset Management more broadly.
• Excellent command of English, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in French and/or another European language is a strong advantage.
