Description
FinPoint, a leading investment banking firm active in Ukraine and the wider region, is seeking a motivated Investment Banking Analyst to join its team.
This is a full-time role offering involvement in financial advisory assignments, including buy- and sell-side M&A, sovereign advisory, capital raising, and financial restructuring mandates for Ukrainian and international clients.
As an Analyst, you will assist in the execution and marketing of transactions across various sectors and geographies in engagements led by FinPoint or Rothschild & Co senior bankers.
Key responsibilities:
Assist in execution of debt and equity transactions, including preparation of financial models, pitch materials, client presentations, information memoranda, and other analytical materials
Contribute to in-depth industry, company, and market research to support origination and deal execution, including work with intelligence platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Mergermarket, etc.)
Assist in sovereign advisory workstreams related to financing strategy, credit ratings, economic competitiveness, etc.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Over a year of relevant experience in investment banking, transaction support, corporate finance, private equity, or Big Four
Fluency in Ukrainian and English
Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Awareness of recent economic developments in Ukraine and globally
Communication and presentation skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team
University degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (CFA, ACCA is an advantage)
