Description
Heading up the team for J.P. Morgan Global Corporate Bank (GCB) Singapore Large Cap business, we are looking for an experienced banker with the ability to lead the team and further expand the coverage with the Singapore HQ Large Cap segment. Ability to manage team to deliver a best-in-class service on behalf of our clients. Working closely with our Head of Global Corporate Banking Singapore, the team lead will be instrumental in developing and executing on our Large Cap client segment growth and strategy in Singapore. As a team lead, the banker will also have client coverage responsibilities apart from managing the team and to ensure the establishment of relationships beyond clients to colleagues from Global Investment Banking (GIB), Payments and Markets to support the long term strategic growth of GCB Large Cap clients.Job Responsibilities
- Managing a team of Relationship Managers that cover Singapore HQ Large Cap across all industry group
- Serve as a focal point of contact within JPMorgan for the client C-suite, treasurer and other senior managers where appropriate
- Build and develop Regional Treasurer level coverage of Corporate Bank selected clients
- Initiate/originate and maintain banking relationships across flow and episodic products
- Identify and develop account strategy together with various products specialists
- Increasing cross selling opportunities
- Partner actively and effectively with businesses, sector heads and Senior Country Officer on client coverage and onboarding
- Set the growth strategy for Singapore GCB overall
- Ensure that team members are challenged and developed in accordance with Rites of Passage and their career goals
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Partnership skills with the ability to pull in and work closely with the various product groups
- Strong client relationship manager with proven ability to build and develop client relationships, win new business, conversion of prospect clients and establish the banking networks, both internally and externally
- Prior knowledge and experience in cash & liquidity management sales/product with a solid understanding of flow derivatives, FX, commodities, payments and securities services
- Experienced people manager with a proven track record of managing cross cultural team
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin as a working language.
- Ability to exercise commercial acumen and judgment
- Demonstrate regional and industry specific credit skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated credit knowledge, preferably have either been in credit or debt capital markets
- Demonstrated relationship and access to the Large Cap client base and direct interaction to C-suite a plus
- Degree qualifications in a business, finance, economics or related discipline.
