Description
OverviewA leading global financial services institution is seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting / Financial Controls professional to support a range of regulatory reporting change, transformation, and system implementation initiatives (including Axiom) . This role requires strong technical expertise alongside the ability to drive and deliver change within a dynamic Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver core regulatory and financial reporting outputs, including:
- Capital and liquidity reporting
- Financial and statistical reporting
- Core financial reporting across EMEA and/or APAC jurisdictions
- Support the design, implementation, and enhancement of regulatory reporting systems and frameworks (incl. Axiom) .
- Drive regulatory reporting change initiatives , including system implementation, data transformation, and process optimisation.
- Participate in Axiom-led projects , including configuration, testing, validation, and reporting improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency via automation, tooling, and enhanced reporting solutions (e.g. Alteryx, Power BI).
- Assess and manage risks within the regulatory reporting environment, ensuring effective controls are in place.
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and Technology teams to deliver end-to-end reporting and system change .
- Provide clear, concise updates to senior stakeholders on delivery progress, risks, and dependencies .
Must Have Experience
- AxiomSL Business Analyst or Developer experience
- Strong regulatory reporting experience , including:
- Data strategy
- Financial reporting
- Capital and/or liquidity reporting
- Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to think independently
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Key Skills & Experience
- Deep knowledge of regulatory and financial reporting across EMEA and/or APAC.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, rulesets, and submission requirements.
- Proven experience delivering regulatory reporting change and/or system implementation programmes .
- Strong understanding of risks and controls within a regulatory reporting function.
- Experience working within Agile (Scrum) delivery environments .
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across business and technology teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior audiences.
- Highly organised with strong time management and delivery focus.
Technical Skills
- Axiom (essential)
- Alteryx and/or Power BI experience
- Experience across regulatory reporting platforms, data transformation, and system implementations
Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) preferred
