Assistant Relationship Manager (with Credit Analysis responsibilities) - Corporate Banking

Overview
A regional financial institution is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) (with Credit Analysis responsibilities) to support coverage of large regional corporates. This role combines client relationship support with credit analysis, focusing on financial assessment, deal execution, and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities

Relationship Support

1. Support Relationship Managers in managing and developing large corporate relationships
2. Assist with client onboarding, account management, and day-to-day requests
3. Prepare client materials including pitch books, reviews, and presentations

Credit Analysis

1. Perform financial analysis (cash flow, leverage, liquidity, risk assessment)
2. Prepare credit papers, proposals, and internal approval memos
3. Conduct industry and peer analysis

Deal Execution

1. Support execution of lending transactions (loans, trade finance, working capital)
2. Coordinate with internal teams (risk, legal, operations) to close deals
3. Assist in structuring facilities aligned with client needs

Candidate Profile
Experience

1. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, or investment banking
2. Experience covering large corporates or regional clients preferred
3. Familiarity with lending products and credit processes

Skills

1. Strong financial analysis and accounting fundamentals
2. Understanding of credit risk and lending structures
3. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
4. Good communication and stakeholder management

Education

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
2. CFA / ACCA (or in progress) is advantageous
