6 month FTC_Start ASAP_Accounts Receivable_SAP Your new company
We are partnering with a leading energy and infrastructure organisation to recruit an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer for a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business that plays a critical role in delivering essential services across Western Australia.Working across two key sites in Perth CBD and Jandakot, you will join a collaborative finance team and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of end-to-end accounts receivable processes.

Your new role

• Managing the full AR process including invoicing, receipting, and account reconciliations
• Preparing aged debtor reports and proactively following up on outstanding balances
• Conducting debt collection activities, including liaising with external agencies
• Identifying and escalating billing disputes, working closely with Customer Relations to resolve issues
• Collaborating with operational teams to ensure accurate data flow and smooth invoicing processes
• Supporting month-end reporting aligned with accrual processes
• Recovering costs associated with third-party damage to assets

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and debt recovery
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with financial systems (SAP highly regarded)
• Confident communicator with strong customer service skills
• Ability to manage challenging conversations and negotiate professionally
• Relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualifications (completed or in progress) are advantageous
