Position Summary This position within the Network Performance and Execution organization provides the financial and analytical support in alignment with market/business growth priorities.
The candidate will gain insight into the complexity of network contracting and provider relations in an effort to make measurable financial impact across the company.
As a Network Manager, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the analytical tools necessary to make network contracting decisions.
This role will focus specifically on expanding the competitiveness of our core Commercial business as well as VBC (Value Based Care) models which include Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), Joint Ventures (JVs), and other Value Based Contracts.
The position will provide ample opportunity to cross-collaborate with multiple business units and partners in order to ensure the success of network contracting efforts.
The network performance team is a critical asset to the organization and has proven agile in evolving to support the strategy of the broader organization. There is the expectation for this team to continue to drive value to the business by applying best-in-class service to our key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Own and provide support for key narrow network pricing tools
Create and evaluate the appropriateness of pricing assumptions and make recommendations as necessary
Analyze network performance data and suggest cost mitigation strategies across multiple products and segment lines
Develop new processes and tools, adding value to key provider negotiations for superior contracting support.
Monitoring performance of existing networks and products to ensure adequate and competitive pricing
Evaluate contract cost outliers and drive for improvement to better position Aetna in the marketplace
Utilize various data sources to identify drivers and potential opportunities to improve performance
Create and foster strong partnerships with multiple business partners
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 3+ years of actuarial and/or analytical experience
Strong technical, analytical, communication and financial skills
Experience in Excel and data manipulation
Thrive in a constantly evolving environment with competing priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years healthcare industry experience
Experience in VBA, Power BI, Access, SQL, Google Cloud BigQuery
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Provide superior customer service to both internal and external constituents
Problem solving skills are critical as many of the concepts are new or in development
Ability to generate new ideas, think strategically, and creatively solve problems that are not well defined
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$92,700.00 - $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
