Description

Entrepreneur Growth Capital ("EGC") seeks a highly motivated and experienced Asset Based Lending (ABL) Business Development Officer (BDO) responsible for originating and developing relationships. This role focuses on expanding EGC’s business development, relationship management, and referral source cultivation. The BDO leads the front end of the lending process, including identifying prospects, collecting and analyzing financial and collateral information, and coordinating with the credit team to structure transactions and prepare deal packages.  The position reports directly to senior management.

EGC is a traditional asset-based lender focusing on the lower middle market.  Located in NYC, we date back to 1937 and are now run by the third generation.  We value long term relationships and foster an environment of creativity and independent thinking.

Requirements

BA/BS degree
3+ years of ABL experience ideally in lower middle market, non-bank transactions
Ability to think creatively to solve working capital needs
Strong interpersonal skills 
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and insightfully
