Summary of position:
To provide services to commercial factoring customers in an exemplary manner and to maintain such relationships.
Primary Job Duties (Essential functions):
- Responsible for day-to-day administration of the clients that constitute their assigned portfolio.
- Act as the primary customer service contact between the specific clients assigned to them, maintaining positive customer relationships by proactively working with their assigned clients to meet their financial needs while adhering to our policies and procedures.
- Carefully review Schedule of Accounts, invoices, back-up documentation and client/debtor status prior to submitting to Portfolio Manager for final release of any advances or reserve releases in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review the account receivable aging (turns, trends and concentrations) to ensure compliance and verify the submitted accounts receivable(s), in a timely manner, according to monitoring guidelines.
- Manage cash application of assigned portfolio making sure all cash receipts are applied properly by following the established procedures for processing payments including A/R invoice coding and adjustment processing in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities; research/resolve payment discrepancies and make daily collection calls.
- Process, transmit and run credit card transaction for customer payments.
- Effectively obtain monitoring documents on client portfolio in accordance with police and procedures.
- Recognize red flags/early warning signs of distress in the Client Relationship and provide assistance to the Portfolio Manager in defending against fraud and misrepresentation by clients.
- Responsible for complying with Advantage’s verification policies and procedures.
- Follow-up on delinquent invoices and verification discrepancies.
- Ensure all client Notice of Assignment letters are in compliance.
- Weekly reporting of invoicing totals/aging totals/cash receipts/invoice adjustments.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously under demanding deadlines.
- Assist the Portfolio Manager in maintaining client relationships.
- Facilitates communication between Portfolio Manager, client and internal departments to ensure any questions and issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Provide internal and external clients with account information and updates as requested in a timely manner. Handle client inquiries and complaints and perform research as needed to meet service standards established by the Bank.
- Responsible for complying with applicable regulations and audit guidelines.
- Perform responsibilities as assigned in the Disaster Recovery Plan.
Secondary Job Duties:
- Back-up other officers in their absence and as necessary.

Requirements
Experience Level: 2-5 years
Skills and Qualifications (Preferred):

Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands:
- Stationary position – must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time.
- Move/traverse – must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets.
- Operate/use – constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Communication – frequent communication with customers and coworkers; must have the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Remote Work:
This position is eligible for a hybrid in the office and remote work after initial training period, the end of which is determined by your immediate supervisor. This hybrid work arrangement is subject to continual evaluation and is dependent upon performance as indicated in the Organization’s Telecommuting Policy.
