Description
FinPoint, a Ukraine- and CEE-focused investment banking firm, is looking for an Investment Banking Analyst.
The position offers work on various types of financial advisory projects (buy- and sell-side M&A, capital raising, financial restructuring, etc.) involving Ukrainian and international clients as well as on sovereign advisory assignments.
You will be onboarded as a full-time member of our team to work on origination, marketing, and execution of our advisory assignments.
Responsibilities
Macroeconomic, industry and company analysis
Preparation of slides and memoranda
Financial modelling
Preparation of marketing pitches
Preparation of research materials and work with intelligence platforms (e.g., Bloomberg)
Sovereign advisory workstreams (related to financing strategy, credit ratings, economic competitiveness, etc.)
Various analytical support.

Requirements
Requirements / experience
- Degree in Finance or Economics (CFA is an advantage)
- >1 year work experience, preferably in international environment (Big-4, IB, strategic consultancy firms)
- Awareness of recent economic developments in Ukraine and globally
- Practical knowledge of industry research, corporate finance, valuation techniques
- Proficiency in financial statements analysis
- Fluency in Ukrainian and English
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint (expertise in work with Bloomberg terminal is a plus).
