Our client is a well-established bank with a fast growing Private Banking franchise. As the organisation continues to strengthen its people capabilities to support sustainable growth, it is seeking to appoint a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner for its private banking business. This is a visible role directly partnering the business to drive the people agenda, balancing commercial priorities with effective talent and performance management and organisational development strategies.
Responsibilities
Reporting into the Head of HR Business Partnering of Private Banking, you will act as a trusted HR advisor partnering closely with business and functional leaders to drive and execute strategic people initiatives while balancing commercial priorities.
You will provide comprehensive HR advisory support across the employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, talent development, succession planning, compensation reviews and organisational design.
A key component of the role will involve proactive stakeholder engagement - building strong relationships with business leaders and providing sound counsel on organisational effectiveness, manpower planning and talent risks.
Requirements
You are degree-qualified with 8 to 15 years' progressive HR experience with good exposure to private banking or wealth management businesses. You are commercially minded and hands-on, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-touch client environment and are able to engage credibly with senior stakeholders. You bring strong analytical capability, sound knowledge of local employment legislation and HR best practices, and experience managing complex employee relations matters.
