WHAT WE ARE SEEKING
We have assignments available to help our insurance carrier, MGA, or wholesale broker clients in Commercial Underwriter – Agriculture & Farm positions.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate and underwrite farm and agricultural insurance risks, including property, liability, commercial auto, and farm operations exposures.
- Review applications, inspection reports, loss histories, and financial information to determine eligibility and pricing.
- Apply underwriting guidelines to assess risk and determine appropriate coverage, terms and conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent agents and brokers.
- Provide underwriting guidance and support to agents regarding farm risks and coverage solutions.
- Monitor portfolio performance and make recommendations to maintain profitability.
- Collaborate with loss control, claims, and product teams to improve underwriting outcomes.
- Stay informed on industry trends, agricultural practices and regulatory requirements.
TO BECOME A WORK-AT-HOME VINTAGE EXPERT, WE REQUIRE
- 25 years of full-time work experience
- 10 most recent years of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance experience specifically with underwriting of Agricultural & Farm business
