Description
Senior Data Protection Lead - Banking - Frankfurt (m/f/d)Key Responsibilities
- Ensure and enhance company frameworks, policies and procedures to comply with GDPR, BDSG, and applicable data protection standards
- Review and optimise business processes and IT systems involving personal data
- Promote a strong culture of data protection and regulatory awareness
- Conduct and enhance Data Protection Impact Assessments
- Establish and execute a data protection control plan, including audits
- Manage personal data breaches and assess reporting obligations
- Oversee Data Subject Requests
- Ensure data protection compliance in outsourcing and vendor arrangements
- Maintain and update the Record of Processing Activities
- Reporting to senior management
Candidate Profile
- 3+ years experience as a DPO or Deputy DPO experience in financial service
- Strong German and EU regulations.
- Proactive, independent, and collaborative working style
- Fluency in German and English
