Description

This is a newly created headcount, sat in the second line of defence to support the increase in business volume with a rapidly growing Swiss private bank.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

1. Perform 4-eye review of high-risk client onboarding and acts as the point of escalation for KYC matters.
2. Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for PEPs and complex clients
3. Assist the Head of KYC Compliance in impact and gap analysis for new regulatory developments, and implement additional controls accordingly
4. Act as a deputy to the Head of KYC compliance and provide leadership to the team when required

To be eligible for this role you will require:

1. At least 10 years of AML/KYC experience from the private banking/wealth management industry.
2. Familiar with recent AML/KYC regulatory requirements in relevance to client onboarding/account opening
3. Able to work independently. Collaborative mindset.
