A global insurance firm with strong presence throughout the Asia region is seeking a strategic visionary as Manager, Product and Strategy, to bridge the gap between innovative product development and market penetration.

About the role

In this role, you will drive the evolution of bancassurance and multi-channel solutions, transforming complex market insights into compelling sales stories and tailored segment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and launch high-impact product and segmentation strategies to drive productivity and local market penetration.
• Lead discussions on new or enhanced product solutions to deepen insurance penetration and expand partner distribution channels.
• Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners to ensure all propositions align with country-level growth plans.
• Collaborate with Product Innovation and Development teams to ensure all product launches remain on schedule and meet technical specifications.
• Partner with sales teams to create channel-specific tools, product offers, and "segment stories" that resonate with diverse customer bases.
• Monitor and report on competitor activities and shifting market trends to provide the data needed for agile strategic planning.
• Manage ad hoc strategic initiatives and special projects to support evolving business priorities.

Requirements

• At least 10+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally within the insurance sector.
• A creative, forward-thinking approach to product innovation and market segmentation.
• Strong foundational knowledge of insurance products; specific experience in Bancassurance is a significant advantage.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence partners and internal leadership.
• A proven track into delivering service-oriented solutions that meet specific segment needs.
• Disciplined timeline management skills to lead complex product delivery roadmaps from concept to launch
