Morgan McKinley are partnered with a global consumer brand looking for a Part Time Accounts Assistant . This is a hands-on role designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the "investigative" side of finance operations .

This role is an Interim Part Time position fully on site paying £130 - £150 a day doe.

Key Responsibilities

• High-volume allocation of customer payments within Sage 200, ensuring absolute accuracy and timeliness .
• Investigating unallocated cash, short payments, and debit notes while maintaining clear audit trails .
• Reconciling customer accounts and monitoring AR ageing to flag overdue balances .
• Managing the shared AR inbox and liaising with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve queries .
• Assisting with month-end close, bank transaction postings, and aged debt analysis using Excel .

What We're Looking For

• Systems Knowledge: Proven experience using Sage 200 (or a similar ERP) is essential .
• Advanced Excel: Ability to use XLOOKUP , pivot tables, and perform complex data manipulation .
• Sector Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume, product-based, or retail/e-commerce environment is highly desirable .
• Qualifications: AAT (qualified or part-qualified) or equivalent hands-on experience
