Description

We are seeking an Associate to join our Financial Institutions Group within Global Corporate Banking. This role involves working with a high-performing team that covers some of the most important client relationships in the organization, spanning sectors such as Banking, Insurance, Broker Dealers and Leasing companies. You will manage relationships with large financial institutions worldwide, helping clients achieve their goals in financing, risk management, capital and liquidity management, and investments. Our clients benefit from dedicated coverage by experienced FIG team who leverages JPMorgan Chase's extensive product platform and global presence in over 60 countries.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support FIG bankers to build, develop and manage client relationships
• Develop forward looking new business plans for clients and support existing business relationships
• Conduct comprehensive client analyses to identify needs that can be addressed with JPMorgan's wide range of banking products, including equity and debt capital markets, risk management, treasury and securities services, markets and asset management
• Collaborate with lines of business partners, including Debt Capital Markets, Markets, Payments, Investor Services, Asset Management, and Investment Bank, to enhance client coverage

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

• FIG relationship management background with capability to build and develop Financial Institutions client relationships, win new business, close transactions and develop networks, both internally and externally
• Prefer FIG related working experience with 3 years+
• Solid knowledge of credit and commercial banking products
• Strong commercial judgment and partnership skills
• Understanding of flow derivatives, FX, commodities, transaction banking and securities processing would be very helpful
• Strong influencing skills and proven track record of managing cross cultural environment
• The ability to read and speak English and Mandarin is a prerequisite
