Our client is a growing hedge fund currently at >USD4bil AUM with solid performance. They are looking for an Fund Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the calculation and maintenance of fund performance metrics, including net asset value (NAV) calculations.
• Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly financial statements and investor reports.
• Perform daily reconciliation of cash, positions, and transactions.
• Trade booking/matching and reconciliation
• Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of accounting records for various financial instruments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data for reporting and analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and compliance requirements.
• Support the preparation of audit and tax-related documentation.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies or issues related to fund accounting activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of fund transactions and positions.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by senior fund accountants or management.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in fund accounting in a hedge fund/ asset manager/ fund administrator/ big 4 is preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Familiar with AI tools
