An experienced AR officer is needed in a stand-alone position. Your new company is a well-known organisation in Western Sydney looking to hire a stand-alone AR officer in their Finance team.

Your new role will include but will not be limited to:

Setup, manage, maintain and review all credit accounts within internal policies and credit limits.

Assess customer creditworthiness and set/approve credit limits and payment terms.

Approve account and sales order releases, credit holds, and write-offs in line with authority limits.

Oversee credit insurance, guarantees and security documentation where applicable.

Manage collections activity, including escalation of overdue accounts, including regular bank account allocations and receipting into SAP.

Resolve complex payment disputes and negotiate repayment plans.

Investigating and resolving customer queries/issues, including liaising with internal departments.

Escalation of issues as required through letters of demand.

Reconciliation and maintenance of debtor ledgers in SAP and Excel.

Reporting as per business requirements including month-end.

Intercompany recharges and reconciliations

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and internal controls.

Prepare regular reporting on credit risk, bad debts and cash flow impacts.

Prepare key reconciliations for balance sheet accounts (monthly).

Maintain Bad Debt provisions and calculations.

Bank verification process for AU vendors.

Intercompany recharges and reconciliations.

Customer account reconciliations.

Audit compliance (internal and statutory).

What you'll need to succeed
Similar experience in a high-volume AR role is a must. Knowledge of SAP would be highly advantageous.
