Description

CoreVision is looking for professionals with at least two years’ field exam experience obtained working for a financial institution or third-party provider. Candidates should have experience working on all aspects of a field exam in a variety of industries and have experience leading an exam. Strong analytical skills, verbal and written communication skills, and Excel/data mining skills are important for success in the role. An accounting degree or background is preferred.

The examiner will lead field work, interact with the borrower and the financial institution credit team and CoreVision managers.

Since exam work is performed remotely (from home) and often at client offices, overnight travel is required. Overnight travel may be between 10-40% of workdays. While a typical work week is 40 hours, there may be engagements that require more due to deadlines.

Requirements

CoreVision Strategies LLC is seeking individuals with experience in conducting collateral field exams for asset-based loans. These exams will cover a range of industries and companies, exposing the candidate to businesses of various sizes, industries and locations.

• The position will primarily consist of conducting collateral field examinations with a focus on systems and controls, accounts receivable, inventory and accounts payable. Report writing, interview skills, the ability to effectively assess collateral values and the operational effectiveness of a company and its management are a requirement.
• The candidate must have strong communication and analytical skills and have the ability to work independently and effectively to meet deadlines. Pre-determined collateral review procedures and guidelines must be followed.
• The ideal candidate has 2 to 5 years of experience as an examiner and is familiar with credit agreements and asset-based fundamentals.
• A degree in accounting is preferred.
• Individuals must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Overnight travel may be between 10-40%.
• A driver’s license is required.
